At Ocean Eyecare in Redmond our patients undergo a full Ortho-K assessment before any fitting is made. Our Ortho-K specialists, Dr. Shams and Dr. Dawar, will assess the health of your eye, your exact corrective prescription, the exact shape and elevation maps of your corneas and whether or not you are a good candidate.

Once you have been approved and assessed, the Ortho-K process works more or less in two steps: Ordering the correct lens, coming in for fitting and training appointment once lenses are at our office and wering the lenses overnight. We bring our patients back for 2-3 followups initially to make sure we have the perfect fit, comfort and vision. once everything is perfect, then we follow up every 6 months.
